Ok, I want to have a menu that looks similar to this:

I have seen something similar in a couple places. anyone know where a module is that already looks similar to this format? Looking specifically for this format:
category
link1
link2
category
link3
link4
...
I have found a couple with something similar, but that also have collapsing categories and I don't want the collapsing part..
Pointers welcome... |

Yeah, that is what I figured. It is more of a "static" menu than the dynamic version (where you can add/remove modules with a "activate button". Guess I will have to just code it directly. thanks |

bfnuke, I've been using Sommaire for over a year and really, really, really like it. Gives you complete control over exactly what you are requesting to do. Only problem is the support forums are all but dead. However, if you stick with the latest version in the 2.x line (no 3.0 beta for now) and if using 7.6 you download the fix file, I have never had an issue with it. Install is very easy.

I used "Simplemenu" for this. The link it gives in code seems not to be the correct link anymore: http://www.sengers-au.com
I liked simple menu because it was simple, and I could link either to a module or a different link and its not overly complicated like Sommaire. The issue with simplemenu is that you're limited to only 6 categories with 10 links each max. Because of this, I'm also having to look for a new menu system, but it looks like I'll be having to code it myself.
Edited for clarification:
For those that dont know, the site used in the example in the first post is mine... |
