What do you use your modules for.

I was wondering what everyone used the different modules for.

Content - Nothing Yet, hoping to see what your replies are

News - Daily news, match reports etc etc

Stories - None yet, hoping to see what your replies are

Reviews - None yet, hoping to see what your replies are

Messages - Site stuff that remains on the front page.

Journal - I've disabled mine but if you have found a use let me know.

and topics and caterogories, how do you use these on your site?

I'm sure it might give people a good idea of what to use nuke and also other cms for. It might be that you have adapted a particular area for your own useage.

it wopuld also be good if someone new the official useage they had in mind for all these modules.

Come to think of it, is there and question answer addon for phpbb like you can do with polls?

Make sure you get the tweak from Evader's site (which I believe is going to be added to the next version of RN) to avoid the anonymous review comments...

sting, I ddn't so much mean that I use reveiws or waiting for content etc, its more a case of what people use it for, book reviews, etc or have people come up with other ideas for modules.

However, thx for your comment, I'll be sure to get the update, I'm not keen on mr anon.

With NSN News, you combine much of the stories, topics, news, etc. functionality into a single module.

Content can be used for anything that doesn't fit into a well defined content type - it's a catch all.

There are several different reviews modules, often used to solicit input from visitors - or to provide recommendations to visitors - about any subject, product, etc.

So I suppose Content would be used more for one offs.

My idea is to use it for 'showcases'. Allowing members to promote themselves etc. Yes they might fit into topics etc, but I think content acts more like a static page system, whilts still alllowing categories.
