I installed RavenphpNuke 7.6 version 2.0 and then upgraded to 2.2. I did this THREE times in rapid succession on three different MySQL databases on three different subdomains on my account. They are...

2. Only registered users can see links on this board! Get registered or login!
3. Only registered users can see links on this board! Get registered or login!
#s 1 and 3 work fine, no problems.
#2 however, when I create a new survey returns a blank page after clicking create poll.
Solutions I have tried...
1. Reuploaded and overwrote all files
2. Repopulated MySQL tables. I specifically dropped the poll questions and repopulated just those, too, no help.
3. Turned errors on in config.php and it still displays nothing.
4. Searched forums. Found a frustrated post with no solution.
So I wanted to know if I should proceed with...

Or is there something else I should consider? If this were a one-site install I would go a different route, but what has me confused it why it works on two out of the three sites.
I did install WYSIWYG but it didn't work prior to that install. Thanks for any help! |

We didn't apply WYSIWYG to the survey module, so that shouldn't be the cause of this problem.
Since the home page seems OK, can we assume that the issue only appears when you create the survey in the admin page? If so, Raven's survey block won't have any impact on your issue.
Did you have any unusual HTML inside the survey on # 2 - was it different than the surveys you have on 1 and 3? |

Nothing special. I changed nothing between the three installs. So no, no new HTML, no new code, no nothing.
That's what makes this so odd. And I tried reinstalling everything.
Could it be a database problem? |

A bit of an update, I was able to change the stock survey and it worked fine. I also was able to vote for it and all works as it should.
Still can't create a new survey though.
Thanks in advance! |

Seems like one of two problems:
The admin function is different on the site, though it seems unlikely.
There is a problem with the survey table - permission, different structure, though that sounds equally unlikely. I'd start by comparing the structure of these tables, then try to do an insert through phpMyAdmin using the SQL from the Nuke admin function. |

Can you tell me more specifically which tables in SQL I should focus on? Is it just those with poll as a prefix? |

Can I get a reply? If it is something tough, tell me! Maybe I can figure it out with a little guidance... |

Chris,
You've been very thorough, it seems, in your attempts to figure this anomaly out. At this point it would seem that you need some on site investigation. If you will PM to me the following information, I will take a closer look when I get a chance.
Site url, admin id/pass (for all 3 sites)
FTP url, id/pass
Control Panel url, id/pass or MySQL url, id/pass |

Yeah I can't remember if there ever was a solution to that issue. Tho I did work something out on the site I had that issue on (as per blith's link). I'll take a look at the block survey php and compare if you like. |
