MySQL on IIS requies an anonymous user to work???

Hello.. ive done alot of Linux server / MySQL work... but my company here has a windows server.. (IIS).. i wanted to run PHP & MySQL and not just .ASP..

OK... i have everything installed... but it only seems to work when there is an anonymous user & password available.

Then it doesnt matter what i tell it the username & password are... (even if they are wrong) it still works?

But the second i remove the anonymous user... it dies... won't connect to the DB..

And yes... i've given the other user accoount proper permissions to the Database....

Question

Does anyone have any clue as to how to help?

Forgive me as I am a little unclear as to what your problem is...., exactly.

But I do have a running MySQL, PHP Windows 2003 server running.

My MySQL directory does not have an anon user in the ACL.

Nor does my PHP Directory.

Obviously my web sites requier an anon user to work, or everyone would be forced to login, anon users are assigned to wwwroot as needed.

Now with Raven Nuke 76 when activating the HTTP Auth in sentenial, not only did I have to turn on register_globals = On but I also had to uncheck integrated windows auth in the web sites IIS auth properties.

With integrated windows authentication activated (which is IIS default) as soon as HTTP Auth in Sentenial is activated the system will not except the Sentenial password.

Could you maybe clerify you issue a little,
