Problems getting to Southern's Site

oo i know hun, i meant his image he tried to post in his reply shows up as a broken image to me.... maybe it is just me who cannot see it Neutral

weird that i do. i think my current ip is banned on his server somehow. I have only had it for 3 days but i get a 403 forbidden when trying to direct view the image or even his domain

In that case why edit it to remove 'offensive content'?

Your IP has been caught by NS doing funky things on my site and consequently some octets were banned. I can't help it that you share the same IP as some bad seeds. I remove your IP from .htaccess on an almost daily basis but w/o fail it seems another sc ript kiddie gets his and your IP banned again the next day.

Yes, you wrote me about that. I havent had a problem with seeing your site since then. You do know that all that was posted a long time ago when I wrote you about your site.

As far as someone editing your post for offensive content I have no idea what you mean. I dont see how a little emote would be offensive to anyone.

My ip changes all the time so it really was not a big deal except for that one day a month ago. Smile

hmm, who posted this today as a new topic? This was all part of that dinix thread. Now it seems that it is its own topic. I am confused by that. Anyone know how come it was moved and reposted? Maybe some kind of forum glitch???????????

I'll have to take credit for removing the picture. It appeared in another thread that turned pretty nasty and I removed it there, after which it was quickly pointed out that it was also here, so of course, it had to be removed here too.

Sorry for the confusion - I have a great deal of respect for all of you on this discussion and hope you understand there was definitely nothing personal about it.

Not really, southern. As you know, I enjoy your humor! The problem was that the picture was taken out of context in another post (it was directed at an individual there), and I removed it from that post. Since I removed it there (and after it was pointed out that the same picture was here), I had to remove it here... It's a lose - lose situation all around. We actually removed a much worse image the same day - both were of body parts better left off a general audience website...

Well, you did the right thing, then. My little guy was aimed, no pun meant, at what I consider disreputable companies, not an individual, but if others were using that as an excuse I'd take it off, too. There's too many flamers and trollers on the net as it is and I don't want to contribute to that sort of thing. Keep up the good work. Wink

You're busy and/or inflict problems on yourself? Just being facetious! Nice to see you around, too. With 11,000 some members here I always look to see if anyone familiar is around. Right now Raven is trying to teach me how to fish, again, so I'm off to my cpanel to get a screenshot.
