Hi
I've registered all over to get help with Nuke Sentinel, NO Luck getting it working. A site I maintain guitarbarn.com was hacked by some turkish wank. I need to install nukesentinel to prevent any furth SQL Injections. I repaired this site back to normal pretty much. I just want to add sentinel.

in addition to this. I need to edit my admin page. When I click modules in my admin area it opens up his hacker site

http://www.r00tprof.tr.cx/

im in the process of backing up all 340+ products that are uploaded to the site, changed all my passwords. Im probably going to re-install php..

Amazing someone hacks a mom & pop guitar shop site.

Any help would be great.

Thanks
Mike

Sorry to hear you got hacked, sadly too many wannabe hackers have too much time on their hands. The reason you got hacked? - because they can, sad as is seems.

You did not mention which version of phpNuke you were using but I should think the first thing you would need to do is restore from a back-up unless you are confident nothing got left behind which the hacker could use to regain access to your site.

Installation instructions are included with the Sentinel package but you might want to ensure you have the latest 'patches' first.

Im also trying to backup my entire content area, it would be nice to not have to re-enter 300+ guitars...

Did you read the instructions?
I am assuming you know how to upload files and edit files in a text editor.

OK lets take this from the top so we can see which path to take.
Which version of phpnuke are you using?
Have you used any of Chatserv's security patches (you will need those).

You need to be logged in as the God admin then type the adress to the nsnst.php file.
You may have problems as your site is not 'patched' so you may need to use an older version of Sentinel such as this one
http://www.ravenphpscripts.com/modules.php?name=Downloads&d_op=ns_getit&cid=14&lid=144&type=url#get

You may want to consider upgrading to Raven Nuke which is available on this site in the downloads area so you have the latest patch set and Sentinel is included in the package.

It appears that NukeSentinel™ has not been configured correctly. The most common cause is that you either have an error in the syntax that is including includes/nukesentinel.php from your mainfile.php, or you have not added the NukeSentinel™ code to your mainfile.php. Details for including this code are included in the download package in the Edits_For_Core_Files directory.

got that off a clean install of php 7.8 just a moment ago..

} if (defined('FORUM_ADMIN'));

i get a parse error on line 1369 in my mainfile.php

I copied and pasted the script from the 7.8mainfile.txt
