I just did a fresh install of 7.6 and the forums and pm comes up blank. The rest of the page is there.(blocks, header,footer). Even after installing the most recent chatserv patch it wont work.

Please search the forums. This has been dealt with many times and I'm sure you'll find an answer Smile

I could only find how to fix the forum admin page being fixed, not the actual forum and messenger itself. I will keep looking, but if anyone finds anything please post.

Sorry for the late reply, was having problems with my isp and the techs took till today to fix it :roll:

Open modules/Forums/config.php
and find:
Code:
if(defined('INSIDE_MOD')) {

    @include_once("mainfile.php");
} else {
    @include_once("../../mainfile.php");
}
define('PHPBB_INSTALLED', true);

change to:
Code:
define('PHPBB_INSTALLED', true);

This will only work if you can't view the Forums, Private_Messages and Members_List modules.

Interesting...

This fixed my problem. However, unlink this situation, I have not done a fresh install. I've been working fine for weeks. I've recently added some packages NSN Project, NSN News, and GT 0.4a, but everything was still working. Why would my installation suddenly "break," and this be the fix?

Hello. Instead of starting a new post, I thought I would continue this one on as I have the same sort of issues.

Nuke 7.6 patched 3.1
Was running phpBB Module version 2.0.15
Upgraded to 2.0.16 to 2.0.17 to 2.0.18 to 2.0.19 to 2.0.20

Now I have blank Forums. Blank Private Messages, blank Members List and the Forum admin is a blank WHITE page.

I have tried ALL fixes suggested in the numerous other threads having this same issue, but nothing has worked for me...anyone have any other ideas? I've now been working on this for over 5 hours and I am at my wit's end.

help? Embarassed I'm desperate. and will give someone FTP access if they would be so gracious to look at it for me.

Did you also replace all the forum and include files that come with version 2.0.20?

Thanks raven for...whatever you did...haha! Wink

I guess it just took stepping away for minute to re-evaluate.
