Use Info v2.1.0 Problem!

Ok i have installed this module/block im using Nuke 7.8 www.svarups.com.

Basically when i try load the website (www.svarups.com) it doesnt load, the load bar on IE just takes ages and doesnt load, asked a few m8s to try it too..

As soon as u upload the original block-User_Info.php file it works. so something to do with that i guess Smile

Probably hasn't been tested with 7.8, due to the security issues there. Do your logs give any hints?

I don't have any logs to see unfortunately... i did have another version of userinfo block working for nuke 7.8 (not sure if it was even this one from raven).. do you know any versions that may work?..

Maybe the previous version works as it says this in the INSTALL file..?

"although it now is specific to the 6.9 version but should still work on all versions."

maybe it just doesn't work in 7.8? Sad

Do you know where i can get hold of previous versions/other distro for this block?

I haven't analyzed the 7.7+ versions extensive, but I know some significant architectural changes were made, which could certainly be the cause of your problems.

When you see something like "all versions" it's best to know when that was written and understand what significant changes were made after that... It makes you wonder why such significant changes are necessary, but designing on the back of a napkin has it's flaws...
