Some silly questions

Hi all,

I've tried to search for it, but didn't really find the answer. I've got a php-nuke 7.5 site up and running .... Since the chatserv patches aren't being made for 7.5 anymore, I'm testing/fooling around with the RN 7.6 package.

My questions are, Nukesentinel is only for the protection of a site? As well as the protection of the admin.php page?

NSNGroups (what does NSN stand for?) Is that only to be able to show blocks/modules to specials groups of users? Or does it replace the old group option in phpbb ?

Nukesentinel is basically there to protect your site from hackers, by blocking them and adding the IP to the deny list in the .htaccess file. Other features include IP tracking, enable/disable site etc.

NSN Groups helps control what users can see and do on your site. There are many modules out there which use this to control the content that the user can access. NSN Downloads is an example.

NSN modules come from Nuke Scripts. Have a look at their site and you should be able to find some more information about Nukesentinel and NSN Groups etc.
