Security Code Change

I looked all around and didn't find how to turn the image off and have it like on this site, Security Code I have trouble reading the letters sometimes.

Btw I'm a nuke newbee Very Happy

any help will be good

Check your config.php.

Im not going to tell you the option right off the break, you finding it will be better.

I will tell you the option is in config.php, and its a number.

There are many settings, search these forums for a better understanding of them.

I cant find nothing ..
i also would like to change the Security Code like the one here.

I looked at a lot but never found where so I just changed it to numbers only so its easyer to read.

I changer this line in class.php-captcha.php in the includes folder

define('CAPTCHA_CHAR_SET', '1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,'); // defaults to A-Z

That way it will only give numbers couldn't find where to make changes to one like this site.

Changing the captcha to numbers reduces the number of possible combinations and therefore potentially could make it easier to crack.

By your last post it looks like you are using the latest release of RN?

The captcha within the latest RN is new and was introduced to help protect against spammers. The old captcha was easier to bypass and read using automated OCR software.

I guess you could roll back to an old version, but you don't really want to do that, do you? Wink
