Hi,

how can i make site navigations, i mean except making a Block with HTML. A module called Sommair I heard can do that, but I don´t find it so far. Or is there an alternative to make a Site navigation, other than just HTML Block or with this Module Sommair ?

Any Info would be appreciated. Wink
Thank you.

There are other navigation addons (I recently saw a commerical script, but can't evaluate it as the instructions I found weren't in a language I understand and I didn't want to pay for the code just to evaluate it).

If you search, you should be able to find Sommaire Paramétrable, version 2 or 3.

I found this Only registered users can see links on this board! Get registered or login!.
But when I want to install it, it gives me this Error.

Code:

Parse error: parse error, unexpected ';' in /home/mydomain/public_html/mydomain/installs3b1.php on line 178

The path is changed a bit but you know what I mean. And as not a PHP expert, I hope you can tell me whats wrong with the File. I would appreciate it.
Thank you.

Thank you Wink , I tried that and it works. Is there anything in this Module I need to alter according to actual Ravennuke Versions or Security things ?

Its also very easy to make your own HTML block with links in it for navigation.

Thats what I had in mind before, but then, if I would limit certain site functions to registered users, I usually don´t make them visible to non-registered users, no matter if they would not have the right permissions anyways to access those.

In a HTML made box i can´t make it dependend on the Permissions, who sees what. But with Sommaire this is taken care of, or am I wrong there ?

No, you are correct. That is why I use it. Of course, I could still write a PHP block that does this and is 100% customizable by me, but why do that when Sommaire works still for me... as soon as it doesn't work, though, I will have to throw it out because the code, for me, is just not maintainable. Too many French spelled variable names and too much javascript for me to manage...

I also wrote my own PHP file block that checks permissions, etc. The version of Sommaire I tried was really crap.

You need to register on their site and pay to access their downloads area. Their website is predominently in Italian and the previous version of TS Menu was also only available in Italian so it might be a while before there is English community feedback

Hi Guys,

I found a new site map module at http://phpnuke-downloads.com. It says "Nuke-Evolution: Site Map" on its readme file. I installed it as per the readme file but am facing some problems.

When I click on Site_Map after activating it in the modules section...I get a blank page with my sites theme. If I click on the Site_Map in the admin panel, it tries to load admin.php?op=SMMain and I get a blank white page!

Can someone help me solving this? Am using PHPnuke 7.5 patch 2.9.

Thanks for your time in advance

The sitemap is for a fork of phpNuke called Nuke Evolution which is why it won't work if you are using phpNuke 7.5
The SiteMap module from www.nukeseo.com is free and should work for you. Also, they have active support, which is something the other site you tried doesn't.

unless you are using rn , nuke evo is very similar and the block should work on it.
