lo, i feel really dumb saying this: I know you can display a message under your banner in phpnuke for like 10 minutes or so, but i dont know where i can find it. Embarassed

i have discovered it this afternoon by accident but dunno where i have get it from. It was a red box with the message under the banner/logo (on top of page).

Login in as admin and got to your administration panel then click on preferences halfway down the page is this:

Code:

Activate Broadcast Messages? Yes   No

Click YES then it is active:

To send a message:
Click on YOUR ACCOUNT then halfway down the page is the

Code:

Broadcast Public Message





You can send a Public Message from here (255 characters max). This message will be displayed to all online users in the next 10 minutes. Any user online will see you message just once in a red bar under the site's logo. Any user can deactivate this feature from here. Please don't abuse. HTML code isn't allowed here.

There is where you can send a broadcast message that shows under your banner on you website.

Hmmmm. Raven Web Hosting doesn't seem to suffer down time. Might want to check them out Laughing

btw it's the first time I experience this, further on they do a good job so i'm happy for now Cool
