Hi,

i just tested the 2.0RC6 version of sentinel. It is great!

A problem i noticed is that even i have in Block Duration : 1 (2004-08-02) , when i test it, for example in union attack, it says that :

Quote:

User Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.0)
Remote Address: xxxxxxxxxxx
Client IP: none
Forwarded For: xxxxxxxxxx
Date Blocked: 1970-01-01 01:00:00
Block expires: Permanent

Any idea?

Thanks Smile

Because you are testing under a protected admin account therefore it's not storing the ip in yoru db to recall in that response page.

Let me explain that better, been a long day here at home Smile

When you test under a protected admin account it will not store your ip in the db along with the reason adn so forth that got the ip banned. Therefore it can't pull that data back out of the db and give you the response page for teh reason you triggered it and gives you a "Default" page for an "Unknown" attack.

I suggest that you write down your ip number, log out of the protected admin account and try it again. With your ip written down you can clear it from your .htaccess file and your db once your test is done. This is how I test each blocker for the response pages.
