Upgrading from 6.9 to 7.?

Hi guys

It's been a long time since I upgraded my PHPNuke and I'm sure it's about time I upgraded.

What's the best path from a 6.9 version?

Do I go 6.9>7.0>7.1 etc....... Upload all the files, upgrade the tables etc.

Or can I bypass uploading all the files from older versions (which is the biggest job if I remember correctly) and just run the upgrades and upload the latest files from the newest version?

I've hacked quite a bit of it, had custom modules made and made my own theme for my site - will any of this be affected in an update to the latest release?

PS. My forums are pretty much up to date (I think) 2.0.11

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

All files will be affected. And, if you goto 7.5 or 7.6 the administrative functions are no longer the same. You will have to run the database updates individually and in order, but the files can be overlaid. Just remember what I said about the administration stuff.
