Email registration/activation problem

Has anyone ran into this problem. Some of our users will get the activation email, while others wont. We have told our users that use yahoo to check their spam/bulk email, but this is happening to users with normal email accts. Any suggestions?

Check your mail server logs, they will tell u.
Diff mail servers have diff rules to accpt mail
Some will accept from dns domains..like no-ip, others only from regist domains, others will reject if on dynamic ip but have regis domain.
We have a prob with a couple Canadian isps and AOL...hotmail yahoo are all ok.

Thanks for the reply. We just converted to PHP from HTML, so we are in the learning mode.
