When I go to the admin panel, the user admin has no icon. So when I click on it, I have this message listed.
ERROR: YOU NEED TO UPDATE YOU DATA BASE TABLE NOW!!
Run cnbya.php from the root of your phpnuke installation, update the database tables, and delete the file afterwards!
The version of the module is 4.4.0 and the version of your data base table is
It does not give me the version of my DB table for some reason.
I ran the upgade.php file to see if that would fix it and the message is still there. I have also ran the Upgrade-7.7-7.8.php file.
What am I missing or doing wrong?
Would this affect not being able to save changes made in the sentinel admin page also? |

This error means you are using CNB_Your_Account and the database tables are not current with the version of this module. And you need to call the file cnbya.php from your browser like so http://yoursite.com/cnbya.php and choose the latest upgrade from the drop down list.

Thanks for the quick response. I finally fixed it. I had to go back several updates and then update the next and the next until I was finally able to update to 4.4.0.
Now for the saving of sentinel pages. |

Check your admin status, goto nuke admin page>Edit Admin> and see if your user/admin status is set as 'GOD' and not just 'super user' |

I have no users listed in my Admin Auth list. I have 2 admins listed in the admin list but there is only 1 god account. The other 2 are super users. I did an admin search and it did not find any. I have added an .htaccess, with 1 blank line in it and an .staccess with nothing in it. Any changes I try to make even in the regular admin mod does not keep. I do a refresh and they have changed back to their default. I even try to add my email for it to email blocked IPs and that does not keep. Missing something else? |

you must add your admin user name to Admin Auth list, protect it and set a password. After that all changes with be saved. |

On the admin users list, I have 1 god account which is a generic account for us and I have 2 accounts which are specific to me and my friend. They are only super user. Can they be made into god accounts? |

Yes, but you really need to trust the user you're giving this type of access to. To change or make the others GOD accounts, you'll need to access the DB with phpMyAdmin and change the name on the account to GOD. Use the GOD account table as a refference. |

Ok guys. I am trying to change the admin accounts to GOD. Nuke said to access the DB with phpmyadmin which I have never used and it is not setup. So I tried to set it up and started receiving this error.
Welcome to phpMyAdmin 2.6.4-pl1
phpMyAdmin tried to connect to the MySQL server, and the server rejected the connection. You should check the host, username and password in config.inc.php and make sure that they correspond to the information given by the administrator of the MySQL server.
Error
MySQL said: Documentation
#1045 - Access denied for user: 'simplemail@212.227.109.178' (Using password: YES)
I have looked and updated each user line in the Config.inc.php file and am still getting this error. I have my config.inc.php file if someone would like to look at it. It has my information in it. I would prefer not to post it, but send it to someone if that is possible.
Is this the correct first step before tackling the .htaccess file and configuration of sentinel? |

Ok....like my above post. If I try to connect with myphpadmin I get the above error.
Now, this is what I am trying to do. I have been trying to configure sentinel and none of my changes will remain. They all revert back to default. I am not listed in the Auth list, 2 of us are non-god accounts and 1 is. I am not sure if I need to add something to the HTaccess file, if I need to upgrade the 2 admins to god accounts or what needs to happen to allow me to save my changes. You have been very helpful but I am stuck again. |

Need some real help. Site db has problems and I cannot get into phpmyadmin to see. I have tried different settings in the Config.inc.php file. Guys. Can you explain to me what settings in that file, the easiest way, is to get into phpmyadmin? What info do I need to know to put in there? And is that all that is needed.
I will name a small country after you for this. |

You tried to upgrade the forums included in phpNuke?
You cannot use the original phpBB files, you must use the BBToNuke ported files from http://www.nukeresources.com |
