Response: 550 Relay denied when reply to a forum topic

hey guys i ran into an intermitant problem when replying to a forum....
any idea's what might be causing it??
the website addy in case you want to see is
www.diskspace.net/cogs
for a while is was giving the following error when replying to a forum post.
even tho the error comes up, it still posts the message

this is the error message:

Ran into problems sending Mail. Response: 550 Relay denied

i dont know why mail relay has anything to do with a forum post.. lol

Your mail server is trying to email people watching that thread. It can be several things. Try this search on google 'Response: 550 Relay denied' and see if that turns up anything.
