Has anyone seen instances of IE crashing when using phpnuke sites. I have had problems and a couple of users have also experienced this.
It's not applicable to any one machine/domain etc, but it appears to happen the more times I click around my site. It almost seems as though its a memory cache type problem.
Although my site is Evo, this also happened with the raven distro. I was wondering if Sentinal was making IE crash for any reason.
your thoughts as alwyas are appreciated

What's the crash?
Did you apply the IE embed fix? |

I've not applied the fix, what does it actually fix. The crashes appear to be random.
Here's the details
AppName: iexplore.exe AppVer: 6.0.2900.2096 ModName: pngfilt.dll
ModVer: 6.0.2900.2096 Offset: 000049aa
IE PNG plugin image decoder
I get the same error each time, sometimes its ok for a few minutes clicking around the site, others it just crashes after about 10 clicks Never in the same place.
This happens to various users and different machines.
It's weird. I'll try the fix if you think it will work

It might be try taking it out so it wont load and see if thats the issue. I have fixed it alot in the next release, and this could be the issue. |

so, rename the pngfix.js and see if it helps
Another theory, I have the site navigation bar on my site and was wondering if that caused any problems. I'm just trying to think of anything that has been added that could cause problems
thx
