php Module want to make a block

Im not sure this is the correct place to ask this, but I have a module installed in my RN site, and it opens a page with a NSV player on it. Now thats fine, BUT I would really like the player on the homepage. I have an index.php script which both installs the SQL and the player, and acts as the admin for the module, BUT I cannot just locate the player code in that php file. Is there anyway, I can load this module into the homepage AND have the NEWS on the homepage too ?

There can only be one index module. But you could have the other in a block. If you want to put the player in a block - and there isn't a block that came with the module - you can create one. Only registered users can see links on this board! Get registered or login! might help.

Yeah I get what you mean, but the problem is, that the module itself has admin functions in it too, and reads from various vars for the stream etc. Ive tried just using the code from index.php that comes with the module into a block but it wont have it for some reason.

I guess I need to just locate the player code within the index.php for the module and create a block using that.
