It's based upon your IP, not user name. Log in as admin and look at your forum configuration. Adjust your flood control timer.

If you're on a dynamic IP, try refreshing your IP.

Nothing is coming to mind. If it was ok and now it's not, and it's only happening to you, I just don't know. So you haven't changed any code in your includes folder nor your modules/forums folder?

well yesterday i did replace the admin_ug_auth.php file cause i was having a error trying to make someone a moderator....chatserver from nukeresorces told me it would work and it did solve the sql error.....it worked fine all day yesterday....and i even replaced it back with the old one today and still are having the problem....its weird cause i logged in with my cousins name and posted on the forum from this same computer and it worked ....i even tryied logging in on my other computer and trying it since it is a totally differnt ip and still had the problem ...so it seems to be linked to just my user name and i hate to erase it cause it would erase all my posts but that is what i will do if you think that will solve it ?...Thx for the replys raven !!!!

Any updates on this as I am also having the same problem. All was fine yesterday though I too used chatserver's fixgroup.php for my admin_ug_auth.php file so that I could add someone to a usergroup. It just seems that the times are all messed up. Once the time passes on a particular thread then all is well with that thread. Is there somewhere that the times need to be changed at? I've checked my forum time and it is set properly as is my own time on my comp. But it is not just me. It is everyone.

I have spent the last 16 hours solid, getting my PC back on line after an HP update pack hosed it all up! I tell you this so that you'll understand that I wasn't online at all until about 1/2 hour ago so I was unaware of the server timing problem. If you will let me know what posts are out of order, I will reorder them.

Sorry to hear that Raven. I thought that maybe by doing the fixgroup that it had somehow messed things up.

Everything seems to have caught up now.

We've all dealt with the problem on our end and just didn't post anything so don't worry about it. You deal with what you have to on your end. If we have any further problems then I'll get back on these forums. Thanks for the update because I was really worried that I had done something wrong.
