Activation email content

Could someone tell me what file contains the content of the activation email?

I believe it is in the lang file in the Your_Account module.

I assume then that it's the index.php file in modules/Your_Account that queries this lang file?

Amog other files yes. Primarily it is the YA index.php but you would make any changes in the language file if possible rather than the index file.
