I searched the web and here and have not found an answer that applies.
Running Raven76 2.02.02, BBtonuke 2.0.20
After installing the site, I cannot create categories to get my forums setup. I tried upgrading to bbtonuke 2.0.21 and still doesn't work.
Any ideas?
thx, BurZ

Are you getting any error messages?
From my understanding, you need to create some forums first and then you can create the catgories to put the forums under.
If that still doesn't work, try turning on error reporting in config.php and see what errors you are getting. |

Well, actually, I believe that you must create a category first before adding a Forum. Make sure that you are not hitting the Enter key, but instead click the "Create new cateogry" button. Hitting Enter will NOT work. |

wow can't beleive that i didn't try clicking it instead of just enter, I thought i had , but now it works! Thanks.
2.0.21 has another issue, whenever something completes in the admin panel it goes to a screen that displays a big colon and then like 2 box shapes
there's no "user edited" or "change successful" or whatever after you compelte something, it appears to be messed up ( this is on the basic subsilver template that comes with it. |

I am not seeing this behaviour with our RavenNuke 2.10 QA system. You may have a corrupt forum file. Try re-uploading the modules/Forums and possibly your includes directories. |

reinstalled the inludes and modules/forums
ok i really screwed them up now, couldn't even see them anymore, attempting to back down to 2.0.20
reinstalled all the files and modified the original SQL to clean up all the forums tables adn start from scratch.
seems to be working fine now.
what version of 2.0.21 should we be using with Raven76 2.02.02 ?? Can you give me a link?
thanks, BurZ- |

My advice would be to wait until the next release of Raven Nuke and use the updated files from that. |
