I am looking into setting up a community site and was wondering if anyone has feedback or suggestions on what a good php script would be. Is there a script that you recommend or would also be able to support here? I have had a lot of success using this site for information and help in the past and would appreciate your thoughts and suggestions.

I was thinking of phpnuke, but want to limit their access to friends, etc. that have been approved. It would be similar to a my-space- site, with restrictions on images/themes etc. and not allow them to use code to make changes like my-space-.

If you want to PM I will give you a little more specific info into what I would like to set up.
Thanks in advance.
Steve

I see no reason why you couldn't do this with RavenNuke.

You could use either the Approve Membership module, or CNB Your Account to allow you to approve membership before granting them access to the site.
