Just really to pick your brains here as I think I have tried everything I can think of.
Helping to move a site. The original site is Dragonfly with intergrated coppermine and works fine. I have installed new site using Ravenscripts php and used intergrated coppermine from pcnuke.com (version 1.3.1.c) and although it all seems to work, I have just noticed within coppermine I am logged out even though I am logged into the site.
If I click login from coppermine header it simply takes me to my account. I have tried different coppermine themes and it's still the same so not theme related. I have tried to uncomment safe mode in load.inc and still no joy.
Now I have uploaded the whole site to my own server ( new site is being hosted on fasthosts ..... I am with 1and1) and it works fine, so it must be the host, but why did it work ok with the dragonfly site ??

Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated. By the way, It's not just a text/link error as I cannot upload anything although I can access admin and config coppermine ok.

I suspect it is the way Coppermine is integrated with Nuke.

Although Dragonfly originated from Nuke, there are now significant differences between the two systems.

I've never used Coppermine myself, due to the all the security issues there have been.

I'd be very surprised if it was the host and there's not much difference between the two hosts, but I could be wrong. I was with 1and1, but I'm now changing to a new host, due to how slow they've become. Sad

Have you considered may be trying a different gallery?

I find 1&1 spot on. I have used them for years and never had a problem. As quoted above and as said in the first post, I have had it working on 1&1 so it cannot be the intergration as I also have the same set up on 2 other sites without ANY problems.
Also, the original coppermine was flawed, but the version I am using is heavily patched as standard and thats without the mods I have done.
What I cannot work out is the site will work on 1&1, but not on fasthosts, yet the original site (which was dragonfly) worked fine on both 1&1 and fasthosts.
I am certain it's a host problem, but just need an idea what it is. It can't be anything else as all the files transfered to 1&1 work fine.

Are you sure everything has been uploaded correctly to the Fasthosts?

If your convinced it's the host then I would start by comparing the packages.

What version of PHP are they using, mySQL, OS etc.
