Your_Account info into Forum account?

I've seen this before on many sites.

Im just wondering how i get it so when u edit your info the "Your_Account" module, to auto take you to your forum profile and edit it there.

It helped my old site out alot but i seem to have lost the files on howto do it.

you can can edit the your account links.....
thats the easiest way.

the links that go to your account...
so instead of using the your_account link checnge that to forum-editprofile.html

hmm that doesnt really help, tbh i dont really know what im looking for, the last place i found out about this was on a site that guided me through which code in Your_Account to edit.
