creating new line without br

the people who will be signing my guest book may not be computer savy so i'm hoping there's a way to have them create new lines without having to use html. i love the guestbook. works great!

it runs all lines together by default or can line break them by default?

No sir, it does not. If you press the enter key it converts them to line breaks. Try it on my site.

line breaks but doesn't actually put it on a new line. sorry if i wasn't clear enough.
basically...

"this is a great site raven!
keep up the good work!"

shows as "this is a great site raven! keep up the good work"

i was wondering if it could show on a new line without using "br" to keep html tags out of the picture for basic users.

I am just not understanding the problem. If you enter the message and you hit the enter key, when the message gets displayed PHP/KISGB converts the line break to a BR tag. That is the only way that a browser can display a line break is by adding a BR tag. That is html. What am I not understanding?

ok, i didn't realize the preview would show one way but the actual posted message would show another. Embarassed
