Code being stripped in forums.

A quick search turned up nothing on this topic so hopefully it's not a stupid question. I've recently re-installed one of my sites with ravennuke 2.10.00 and the install went flawlessly. Prior to re-populating the db, I tested the base install just to see if everything was functioning correctly.

About the only problem I experienced with the new install is that my code function in the forums seems to strip out much of the code used within the code tags.

I'm just wondering if this is something I need to add to my forum ACP/User and Forum Basic Settings/Allowed HTML tags?

Hello old friend. When I installed bbcodebox v5.1.0.a it seemed to help, but I have yet to test that theory fully on the new raven distro. My BB2Nuke version is 2.20. What you speak of though is prolly one of the oldest problems in phpbb. Your in the right place to find some help though. Smile

I would recommend turning off HTML in your forums anyways. See if that allows you to then post HTML as more like "text" rather than as mark-up.
