Top posters in different time periods ?

Hey,

I would like to ask you if there could be an easy way of changing the TOP POSTERS part to show top posters in different time periods. For example one month or week.

What I would like to have is the possibility to change the top posters to be evaluated by the amount of posts they made in given time period. For me perfect would be a month.

Just an idea. May be there is an easy way how to do this. If yes please let me know, I would be really happy as on our site some old members have a lot of posts and we would like to encourage ppl to use the forum more ... and I was thinking this could be one of the possible ways.

phpBB does not store such historical statistics. Generating it on-the-fly may be an option, but it wouldn't scale well depending how many users you end up having.
