I'm having an issue with all-time page views (since launch of site).

The page views shown on my Site Info appear to be accurate. However, the all-time page views that shows up on the Statistics module main page seems is WAY off. It's like 1/6th or 1/7th of what it should be. Not sure where the problem is.

Anyone else have a similar problem or if you check your statistics does it match? I just noticed this while looking at the advertiiser's module and then going to the statistics module.

you can see the problem at my site www.icarry.org/stats.html

Looking into it.

Your counter and stats_* tables appear to be out of sink. Didn't you say that you had changed your site over to RN? If so the only thing I can guess is that counter table was not being updated properly before. There really is no way to properly fix it without resetting all the stats in my opinion.

Any idea what would happen if I changed the number in the _counter total hits row? To coincide with the number being displayed in the Site Info box?

I know this is a dirty way to fix it, but perhaps it would then more accurately reflect the true number of page views?

sak, you will have to just try it out and then see if the stats bump (you can always set it back). However, just so you know, there is a setting in rnconfig.php ($statisticsExcludeList) which controls the users to avoid bumping the count. The default is to exclude any 'admin' from bumping the stats.

sak, You should be able to change the "total hits" in the Counter table with no problem, but if you do your count will not match your Browser and OS count also in the Counter table.
