Burnt MoBo Blues!

Finally get a decent internet service and wouldn't ya know it my 8 year old MSI motherboard has passed away.

Making it worse I ordered a new old stock pcchips board as an impulse buy to get going quickly. Well turned out to me a POS and is DOA.. or at least for all intents and purposes.

Waiting for a used MSI board now with some luck it will be tried and true.

Window shopping for a new PC is fun but dayum its going to be a while. I'd like to hold out until the solid states are a little less precious.

Until the new board arrives I'm reduced to using a old Gateway Essentials 700 Celeron I'd put in the attic along with my legitimate copy of Win Oz XP.

Guess I should be grateful to have that!

Finally life is good again! Took more time then it ought to but... my Simply Mepis machine is back again! Still a few loose ends but dayum its good to be back from the land of Win Oz!!!!!!
