Login captcha

How hard would it be to change the login captcha from one theme to another? How would that be done?

Right now I'm using a theme that has the colorful lines running through it and is sometime hard to read the letters. I like the login captcha this site uses. Just a string of numbers and easy to read.

you can change the background image of the captcha

it's not set to use one (other than default) but here's an example of using one of the optional ones in the RN distro

includes/class.php-captcha.php

Code:

define('CAPTCHA_BACKGROUND_IMAGES', '../images/captcha/blue_clouds.jpg');

or create your own to match your theme. but there's no way to switch it by theme @ current
