I'm running php-nuke 8.0 with phpbb3tonuke. But nuke 8.0 doesn't have Japanese language itself. So I found Japanese language files for nuke 7.4 made by someone. I couldn't find it for 8.0. Nuke isn't so popular in Japan.

It seems working almost well. But security code for user registration and login doesn't appear on Your_Account page only for Japanese page. It shows only red x or text.

Of course, security code for other languages including nuke as default is indicated. My gfx setting on config.php is 7.

And installed Approve Membership 6 for 8.0.

How and where to fix this?

Thank you.

Maybe check the japanese language file if there are empty lines and remove these. There are different reasons for such security issues. Some can be found if you search here for "security code issues".
Or its a problem with your Approve Membership module. DonĀ“t know exactly.May I ask you where you downloaded the japanese language file ? I would like to test it out with my site.

Susann, thanks for reply.

Now it's fixed.
I tried to paste whole language file. But I found very stupid error.
The code was ended with double "?>".

After removed it, security code works fine. Thank you for your time.

Hiro,

Are you able to translate English to Japanese? I couldn't tell, for sure, if you just didn't want to or if you weren't able to. We are looking for several language translations and Japanese would be a good one Smile.

Raven, thanks for reply. I'm a newbie for nuke just runnin for 2 years. I'm runnin' web radio site, so I had to use nuke because web radio and site expart made great module for nuke. So I don't have no knowledge about nuke and php, I'm just using programs and hacks made by someone else.

I was a beta tester of phpBB3toNuke, so I knew about your scripts at the nuke Korea.

Now I'm thinking converting nuke8.0 to RavenNuke if it's possible. I installed your nuke for testing, it's very interesting and having great features and of course it's still developing!

Yes I'm Japanese but don't know how to write language file. I just have lang-japanese.phps for language folder and Your Account folder of nuke 7.4. I applied them for my nuke 8.0, it's not working perfect but working fine basically. I got many MOJIBAKE at first because of encoding. 7.4 for Japanese was written in enc-jp, but nuke 8.0 is UTF-8, so I converted all lang-japanese files to UTF-8, it's fixed.

I don't know if I can translate for RavenNuke, but my pleasure to try it if you teach me how to do.

But in Japan, nuke as same as phpbb style forum isn't popular so php-nuke Japan project stopped for many years ago. It's also caused by stopping develops php-nuke itself. XOOPS is more popular in Japan. And now I feel switching to Joomla.

My site nuke 8.0 with phpBB3ToNuke and Sam2nuke.
