Admin password mopt working

For some reason my password for my God account isn't working. This happened from last night to tonight. I do not remember doing anything unusual (well, any weirder than "normal" for me).
I've tried changing the user password & God password to match. I've tried renaming "God" to "GOD" ---- no joy there. I seem just unable to get into admin.
I've searched the forums, but those of you who know me that I can often stare at something for hours & never see it...
Anyone with a little help for me hear?

If your password is the issue, then changing a name likely won't help...

I would use phpMyAdmin to access your database. Load the {your_prefix}_authors table. Click the Edit icon (typically a pencil) next to your admin name. In the pwd field, enter a new password in the Value column, in plain text. In the Function drop down box for that field, select MD5, and then commit the change by clicking Go. Now access your admin login and try to log back in.

If it fails, then the password was not your issue.. please report back..
