2.4.01 - Installation Issue - - - ( RESOLVED )

INSTALLATION ISSUE:

I was going crazy , Well I guess I still am .

I wanted to install your latest Ver.
Of Raven Nuke Which I see is 2.04.01
so I downloaded the larger file

and setup my database

and then realized there is no /INSTALLATION/ Directory

So then I downloaded the smaller file and it has the /INSTALLATION / Directory

There Are 2 Files in the D/L Area:

RavenNuke_v2.40.01.7z which is 6,665 kb

and the larger one

RavenNuke_v2.40.01.tar.gz which is 9,121 kb which has no INSTALLATION Directory

Here comes the Question .... Which one do I use

PS: I will be donating to the cause as soon as I work this out , Thanks for all your help

ALSO I see in the instructions :

You have hopefully downloaded the RavenNuke(tm) distribution and now there are several ways in which to install the files.

You have to extract the files. They are compressed. Download 7-Zip, it is a free compression utility.

They are the same thing, just use different compression types.

I advice you to have winrar and 7zip installed on your computer to extract compressed files but in my opinion the best one is the free one 7zip. It can even join .001 splitting formats. I can make a license for your winrar if you want. Let me know.

No. I'm Sorry , but they are different ...
Download them and see ...
The larger of the two one is missing the INSTALLATION Folder
it has the howtoinstall but not the INSTALLATION folder

So I will use that one ...

I will be Donationg to this site ...

And will be making a VERY IMPORTANT POST regarding the HACK that took us Down to begin with ...

you need the installation folder..

I downloaded and confirmed that the RavenNuke_v2.40.01.tar.gz DOES have the INSTALLATION/ Directory

Windows is known to have issues with the .tar.gz extension. Try opening the RavenNuke_v2.40.01.tar.gz file with 7zip instead of winzip or similar.

Very Strange, or so it seems at first glance. I just d/l RavenNuke_v2.40.01.tar.gz and I couldn't find the INSTALLATION folder either. But I found it impossible to believe that a year has gone by w/o anyone telling us. So, I did a little 'debugging' Wink

Using WinRAR x64 v3.93, there are several folders/files missing! However, using 7Zip on the .tar.gz file, all the files are there Smile

. So, it appears that windows may not be the issue, this time Wink

. I will check into this a bit more later. But at least we have resolution! Wave

Using WinRAR 3.2 and v240.01.tar.gz - INSTALLATION folder is present. I didn't check to verify all files are there.
