I noticed this a long time ago just didn't both trying to fix it I thought maybe Raven knows the solution. On my site i can give you link of you want to try it yourself the Survey Block when people try to vote it send s them to the Your Account page
if they aren't logged in and are Anon, then it takes them to the login. It uses to let everyone vote. But I do notice some votes so I don't know what is wrong most people can't vote. I thought it was ip based or something but I tried making new suveys etc. replacing module altogher. Right now my site running random survey block that works well but voting like i said.... Also the weird thing is from homepage can't vote but if I click on surveys and go to one, i can vote from there sometimes.

That almost sounds like you have the survey set for registered users only and not anonymous. Is that possible?

I don't know Raven because lets say if I reg a new name, it won't let me vote and would take me to the My Account page. I have tried a fix I saw at nukecops and stuff but doesn't seem to work.
Want me to show you the source of my survey or something?
I didn't really change anything, but using a random survey block both don't work.

Verify in both blocks AND modules that surveys are active and for All Visitors.

Hi Gaylen,
I have a similar problem with the survey block too. Voting takes me to the Your_Account page (on different computers, different browsers etc..). However, if I use the Surveys Module and pick a poll I can vote with no problem. So I think it's a block issue. Wonder if there is a change in the DB that was not incorporated in the block.

Regards,

I'm having the same problem now. I have my poll set to registered users, because i don't want anonymous users voting. Both the block and the module are set that way.

When i try to vote, i get my account page. If i go into the polls though, i can vote fine...any ideas?

Nope...same thing. I repalced the block with your's, and I try to vote, and it brings me to my account page. I have the block de-activated right now(i don't want to confuse my users) so if someone wants to see it on, let me know.

Just register, and i'll flip it on for you.

Thanks.

I have turned on the survey block and module for all users, and placed it at the lower right hand of the site. Feel free to vote. Maybe it will help me figure out why it keeps kicking my users back to their accout page.

Let me know if anyone has any ideas. Thanks.

One more piece of information. Since i activated the block/module for all users, anonymous users seem to work ok, it's the users that are registered that are having problems.
