Where is Audioslaved?

I was working very closely with Bill (Audioslaved) on including a GT's nuke 7.3 custom pack. He was almost done and then he has disappeared from site. It's been weeks. Attempts to contact him (PM, email, his site) have drawn a blank. Does anyone have any word on him?

I last traded emails two weeks ago after he had been absent for a week. He said that he was ok but occupied with another site. He suggested he would be back the next day to help his users at GT NextGen but I havn't heard from or seen him since.

I attempted an email a week ago but received no response. I am concerned as his brainchild, ie GT NextGen, really needs his ongoing assistance.

I do not know the person, but the site (for me at least) has been running slow.
I need to tap my site but there is a few security issues I need worked out.

Last time i spoke to AudioSlaved was on msgr. That was almost 4 weeks ago. I just like you am hoping that his health is ok.

My last contact was several weeks ago and was given impression he would be back online within days........... He indicated that his business was taking him out of town quite a bit but he was anxious to return and code. I to anxiously await his return as I need his help to complete coding of some modules and upgrades....

I just posted new GT code to enable replying to comments in news, and the ability to read those replies to comments in news.

Obviously, I hope that this code will be helpful to others. (Sheesh 5 and 6 variables... I miss 1 variable coding.. sniffle... lol)

I'm still adding new GT code to fill in the blanks from missing functions. I hope to do much more of this is the next week or so as I try to catch up on some old needs where I have been hard coding .html properties into my .php files. Obviously, this is a temporary solution and instead I should have been writing new GT code. I figure that with all of the updates for Nuke code that should be coming out soon.. .oh I mean patches... lol... it's better that I fix it once in GT rather than fixing it 1000 times in Nuke. (Someone should teach FB that lesson)...lol

Anyway, I was hoping to see Bill around for this kind of stuff, if only to see other code that he and others may have come up with to start filling in these blank spots. Alas, all I see in the forums are problems. Sad

I too hope to see him again soon! But in the meantime, I'll just keep posting my new GT code. Again, if nothing else, hopefully it helps other people out there trying to fill in the blanks.
