Sup? im setting up a irc chat on my website. I have created a channel at

jade.va.us.dal.net
#CyberPunkCafe

can i get one or 2 people 2 park there as ops, so encase my computer goes down i will not lose the channle

elray, Sting was "bumping" up the thread probably since there were no answers. It's a common way to bring a topic back up to the top so that viewers see it without it scolling to another page where it might not get an answer Surprised

i cant say i understood your question?
you can register the channel via the cs if you have a nick registered so noone else is opped(or someone gets opeed automaticaly).
If this wasnt your question then sorry

Most of the time you can register a channel and then hook ChanServ to the channel.
ChanServ will stay in the channel as operator so no-one can take it over
