needing to run 2 identical modules

i need to run 2 modules and was wondering the best way to accomplish that. specifically i need 2 calendars in a site, one for general calendaring function and the other dedicated to more or less a single function of being a reservation listing for a vehicle. i was considering taking the calendar module i use and renaming all the variables and db functions and also renaming the module. would that work or would it be simpler to get a different calendar module and run 2 different modules?

Since only 1 will be displayed at a time, you shouldn't need to rename the variables. But, you would need to rename the module and the database tables.

The best way to do this is to buy totalcalendar. This is a one time fee of 35.00 and you can create multiple calendars with it. I use this on a site that I have been building for a client and it is wonderful!!!!!!
