on the banners admin it says where you want a banner to show you put ads(position) where position is the number is that a function like ads(1); or what.

I got everything I needed it washelp using echo to echo the commandfor the banner system in 7.8

Great. I thought it sounded like a 7.8 issue. If you're using 7.8 because you like the banner functions, you may wish to consider one of the alternative ad systems that work with more secure versions of PHP-Nuke.
