After upgrading to 7.7 and applying all patches i also upgrde my BB.
Then a bizare error happened.Users can create new topics but when they
create it nuke just changes the topic of an old one to the one that the user typed and adds the post as an answer to this topic.Any ideas what may have happened.The version og phpBB is 2.0.15

Once you install Nuke and add the patch you cannot change the forum's files, the patch already includes the latest port, in this case you could only upgrade them to 2.0.16 which is still not part of Nuke Patched, by uploading BBtoNuke files over a site running Nuke Patched 3.0 you are overwriting fixes those files might have. Also make sure you didin't use phpBB files, those can't be used with Nuke.

No idea to be honest since this is the first time i hear of such a problem, the best i can offer is to check into it myself, for that i would need the site's url and ftp login data, send me a PM.

I checked the includes folder and the main forum files and both check ok but you had several folders inside of the Forums module that are part of standalone phpBB which i deleted, since those files checked ok my next guess is maybe you are using templates that are for phpBB and not for BBtoNuke, i would suggest uploading the subSilver template from Nuke and the DeepBlue theme and then checking if the problem persists.

ok found out what the problem is.
The admin of the site before me had upgraded from 6.0 with the wonderfull splatt to 6.5 with nukebb and lost all his topics.No somehow the topics are coming back.I cant see any topics through php nuke nore phpmyadmin.I would be gratefull for any help
*update*
found out that at the upgrade only the bbtopics was erased and not bbposts and bbposts_text.So i have to erase somehow every bbpost that is with a topic_id greater than my running one (which is 747).The sql query should be
DELETE * from $prefix_bbposts where topic_id>747;
Isnt this right?
