I have a few questions on PHPBB forums,

1. How could I put some Google ads on them

2. Where can I get info on really altering the forums, like scripting stuff so I can add and revome things.

There are several sites that have PHPBB tweaks for PHP-Nuke, including CurtisH's http://bbtonukemods.com/ and http://portedmods.com. If you search here, you should find additional info, or links to that info, on adding Google ads in the forums.
