/installSQL.php shows that I have set up config.php correctly and that it has logged into the database. Clicking the first button, "Install Core Tables", redirects me to a different website, http://www.cygwin.com/. I downloaded their setup.exe but have not run it, as I have no idea what it is. Help! |

it is on a unix server at network solutions. it seems tha raven runs in a *nix/php/mysql environment, so i don't know why this windows issue arises. |

I see no reference to cygwin anywhere in the code
But it looks like the form should be sending to $_SERVER['PHP_SELF'];
Your server may not be returning the correct variable here - something you'll have to ask your host about |

I knew it! this is the last straw for me and network solutions! everything path-wise with them is an endless problem. I am sure that this is the issue exactly, because I've had this problem with them on other cgi-related issues. I'm going to see if I can use Raven's hosting solution instead. |

This is actually more common than I would like. What FTP client were you using?
I am going to start collecting a list of the "ones to avoid" as I see this way to often.
Thank you for letting us know it is resolved. |
