Raven's New Project

For quite some time I've had a project in mind but haven't had the time to develop it. I've been wanting to develop a tool to help in the creation of HTML, nuke blocks and/or nuke modules. I have read of some applications which are out there but I have not been impressed with their results. So, read on for more information and a link to test.

Also, there is a forum for all disussions - click here.

Admin note: Last update 12/23/2003I have been prototyping some ideas I've had. I have never put any code out this early for review, but I am making an exception here. I would like to get some feedback on the direction I am going with this. Keep in mind that this is in the very early stages and will be changing frequently and may be broken and 1 minute later may be working! Please take a look an give me feedback. Do not submit bugs because I'm not entertaining bug reports at this juncture :). What I am after is feedback on the usefullness of the model. So far it can insert code around high-lighted text, insert PHP Code and MySQL code for example only. Insert code at the end. Display HTML and PHP code. Include files from your computer. There are many more features planned and in progress, including a nuke/php IDE of sort.

This is being developed in IE and I have no intention of trying to make it cross browser compatible. I will, of course, look into some of the idiosyncrasies where possible but I am tired of trying to be all things to all browsers.

It is not yet pretty as I am concentrating on code and functionality. It is a stand alone application right now. Test it here. Let me know your thoughts, impressions, and suggestions/wish-list.

I think it looks great. I did a little simple HTML to test it out and it performed wonderfully! Thanks for the time and effort on these projects Raven. Things like this will really help the beginner and novice learn a little more and more with each use. (like me for instance)
