Hi I just changed from phpnuke to RavenNuke_v2.10.00

Everything seems ok, however confirmation emails end directly in the junkfolders.

Hotmails explanation for putting it in junkfolder is that the sender of the email culd not be confirmed by the sender-id. This did not happen with the standard phpnuke.

Its not very useful sending registration info and newsletters if only a few porcent of the users ever notice that they got mail from my site.

Why cant the senders-id be verified?
Is there a way around this through the smtp settings and nukes email sending code?

That is what it says on hotmail.com, if you have a hotmail account go to junkemail folder and read reson for emails being transfered there. There you will find this explanation.

I know that many auto-reply applications emails ends up in spam or junkmail folders. But not all, there obviously is a reason wich must be in the header of the email, and either has to do with how it is coded or this sender-id.

But how do I make shure that the email ends up in emails folder? What do I have to change in the code?

Well this is the second time i hear something like this...
but this isnt a ravennuke thing or bug...
otherwise everybody would have similar problems...
have you contacted your host about this?
I mean...everything about RN and its sending mail (standard) is nothing wrong....but your host is responsible for how it goes out....

antone, if it is not too much trouble and you do not mind, could you forward to me one of the emails that go to your junk mail folder? Hopefully the complete headers will remain intact. Email to montego __AT__ montegoscripts **dot** com.

Thanks!

Yes, I had this exact same problem converting from standalone nuke.

I am in the process of "properly" converting", and just had another server change. I will let you know the outcome. It may narrow it down.

It must be server related. The first email which was sent went straight into the correct folder.

One thing though, all my urls now use
