The setting that is supposed to load the block at startup is not working [SIGH]. Don't know what happened, but I'll work on that this evening and should have a fix posted shortly.
Update 11/5/2002 18:38 - I have corrected the bug and replaced the block code in the download. Please re-download if you downloaded prior to 18:40 CST 11/5/2002. Sorry for the inconvenience!

I downloaded the latest copy, but now am having another problem. When the block loads the data upon loading the webpage (TRUE), some links don't work (Get Quote, Add To Portfolio, and Retrieve History). They work when it is set to FALSE, so this is a wierd problem affecting the module although it is a block setting. Earlier, I had modified the code myself in the block to load the data automatically and I had the same problem. I was really hoping your changes would not have the same problem. Could you help?? |

OK, there's something else going on because I just tested it both under PHPNuke and PostNuke and I don't have any problem. I notice that you're site is throwing a Javascript error. Let's first rule out your changes. Please put my virgin code up on your site. Don't make any changes at all. Test it with load=false. Then test it with load=true. If it fails, then we'll have to dig deeper. What version of Postnuke are you running? What server? What OS? |

Sorry I wasn't clear, but I took all of KISSQ off and reloaded the new version with the virgin code. I'm only getting the problem when TRUE. When set to FALSE, it works. Right, it is a Javascript error I noticed. I'm no programmer, so I don't know where this is coming from. I'm running PostNuke .721 Phoenix. This is on a Unix Hosted box with Apache, MySQL. It is hosted by www.e-rice.net. Thanks for looking into this. |

Can't reproduce your error. Gonna make this one really hard to fix :) |

Jason, would you zip your php.ini file and send it to me? or do you not have access to it? |

I just checked all my directories and it appears I don't have access to the php.ini file. Sorry. Are you able to pin this error down to either the block or the module - or do you think it is something completely different? |

Since we have compared the code and it is identical, and since so many are using this code w/o any issues, I have to assume, for the moment, that it is not the code. |
