What do you think? I have been tweaking my KISGB and as I was thinking about releasing it I got to wondering if guestbooks are even used much anymore. With Twitter, Facebook, Blogs, etc., are they still used or needed?

My PHP Guestbook (KISGB) port to phpnuke has been upgraded to v5.1.1 from v5.0.2. The stand-alone version has had over 54,400 hits at http://hotscript.com and enjoys a 5 star rating! This release for phpnuke now offers all the functionality of the stand-alone version. See the version history in the docs folder.

3 bugs have been identified and fixed. I have updated the kisgb download. If you downloaded kisgb before 7:30 AM (CST) then you can either download it again or just download an upgrade folder that contains the 4 files that are patched.

After over a year of testing and development, v5.1.0 of my guestbook, KISGB, has been released! Read the history log for all of the changes, but the 2 to note are quoting of entries when responding and ability to monitor entries (Admin approval). Get KISGB v5.1.0.

Thanks to Dumitru Tudor from Ycaar Web Holland, KISGB now has a Romanian translation! I have loaded it to the KISGB sites and will be testing it for a week or so before making it available for download.
