A Web worm that identifies potential victims by searching Google is spreading among online bulletin boards using a vulnerable version of the program phpBB, security professionals said on Tuesday. The Santy worm uses a flaw in the widely used community forum software known as the PHP Bulletin Board (phpBB) to spread, according to updated analyses. The worm searches Google for sites using a vulnerable version of the software, antivirus firm Kaspersky said in a statement. Almost 40,000 sites may have already been infected. Using Microsoft's Search engine to scan for the phrase "NeverEverNoSanity"--part of the defacement text that the Santy worm uses to replace files on infected Web sites--returns nearly 39,000 hits. "Santy.a is spreading rapidly," antivirus firm Kaspersky stated in a new release published Tuesday. "However, this does not directly affect users. Although the worm infects Web sites, it does not infect computers used to view those sites." Read More...

As an ip-2-country.csv related update, MySQL Dump Generator [MySQL DumpGen for NukeSentinel Banned Countries] is now released for Banning Entire Countries with the aid of NukeSentinel 2.1.0, 2.1.1 and 2.1.2 supported feature.

As with the initial (prior) release, this updated package consists of two (2) sub-packages:

* TOOLSET sub-package being responsible of generating the associated/attached "MySQL Dumps sub-package"
* MySQL Dumps sub-package containing (220) pcs of importable table "slices" in country dedicated sub-folders

Whichever the chosen approach is, the generated/attached MySQL Dumps offer possibility to ban entirely any country being listed/extractable in/from the "ip-2-country.csv" database (as per latest release of "ip-2-country.csv" on December the 2nd).

[ note: the approach is based on core idea of importing MySQL Dump Files into the PHP-Nuke MySQL DB to achieve the target - i.e. banning one or more countries entirely based on currently available most up-to-date information "ip-2-country.csv" on globally scattered IP Ranges.]

We were so busy owrking on our next release, we failed to spot the problem straight away.

Well, I don't know how long it will be before I have anything to publish, but here is 1 design (theme) I have been working on. Don't be concerned about the pictures/graphics etc. They are just placeholders right now. I've started a thread for the feedback. See PHP-Portal Development Has Begun!.

Note:
BTW, I am not using any tables. I'm trying to design with pure CSS. We'll see.
