Link Exchange Partners Wanted More about

I have become very aggressive towards feeding GoogleBot (GB), as you may have picked up on, over this past month. I have been very satisfied to say the least! I am now averaging over 2000 hits a day and today had 5920! I attribute this dramatic increase to several things and the encouragement, support, and expertise of Storebuilder who nagged me until I started addressing these issues

What I have determined has really driven the GB over the edge, are 3 main things.
  • Dynamic Titles
  • Anchor Tags (links)
  • Title tags
Since adding Title Tags to almost every link on my home page about a week ago, GB has been more aggressive. I may be off on the reasons, but the proof is in the pudding, as they say.

My point is now to increase exposure from other sites! To do that we need to exchange links. It matters not to me whether it's a text link or an image link, so long as you use both an ANCHOR tag and a TITLE tag. If you would like to exchange links with me, please email me at raven (_AT_) ravenphpscripts (_DOT_) com. If you have a better way, please post!

Movie Community Module More about

Posted on Tuesday, October 05, 2004 @ 23:15:56 CDT in My Scripts and/or Mods
by Raven

A while back I wrote a complete Movie Community system. I am demoing it to registered users on my site. In the second block on the left you will see the block inviting you to register for the Movie Module. This does not affect your nuke membership in any way. Once registered you have access to other members movie titles and lists. You can download the lists, enter movie information, etc. Give it a test spin! It's pretty intuitive. I sold this to a client and he has succesfully registered over 97,000 users in less than a year and is quite successful. All that to say that I would like you all to try it and see what you think.

Please register, add some movies, etc. This module can be used for members to share their movies although it does not provide the P2P system. It allows you to organize your movies so that others can then find the ones they might want to trade, or whatever.

We have released 2 NEW themes today. One is absolutely FREE and the other is available in the Theme Shop. The first theme is called: Simplex and this is a great theme if you're looking for a fast loading theme. It uses no graphics and comes with a  matching Forum Template. The second theme is called: Fleet and also comes with a matching Forum Template. It also uses some really neat graphic icons in the forum area, as well as on the main page. We have also released a brand new THEME PREVIEW Block. This is an amazing block, especially for those of you who run theme sites, or even those of you who want to give your users the option of changing themes on the fly. The great thing about this block is that you do not need to register on the site in order to preview the themes and/or the Forums. It uses a cookie and is session based. It also has the ability to keep your selected theme when logged in as a user. There are just 2 modifications required. One in your mainfile.php file and the other in the Your Account index.php file. Thanks to Viperal for this block. It is now available for download in the download section. (Registration is NOT required anymore). Come on over to Lorkan Themes - An Evolution In Theme Designs
