I have just posted the latest IP2Country database dump files for NukeSentinel(tm). This time however I also produced an SQL dump version that can be used in phpMyAdmin. You can get the standard or SQL formats HERE and/or HERE.

This is an experimental, if you will, attempt to see if I was able to easily and correctly extract only the files that changed from v2.4.1 to v2.4.2. If this upgrades your site without any problems, then I will probably issue this whenever Bob releases the full upgrade packages. This is, obviously, a much smaller d/l, especially where the IP2Country files are concerned. Download the upgrade files for upgrading from v2.4.1 to v2.4.2.

2.4.2 CHANGES (2005-09-20):
+ Includes IP2Country 2005-09-19 updated imports.
+ Corrected save routines that were/are corrupted by the WYSIWYG editor.

The new security measure in NukeSentinel(tm) is working very well, so well in fact it is preventing the Forums from working much ;) We have had to make a minor change in this new measure to allow things to work like they should. If you downloaded version 2.4.1 prior to 01:00 08 Sep please download the patch file HERE or HERE. The main download has been updated to include the patch.

I am happy to announce that a few users of NukeSentinel(tm) 2.4.0b have started submitting new IP 2 Country ranges to NSN as they add them to their databases. 1 of these submissions forced a sizable change in the IP2C database table because of overlaps. This is the first step in creating the largest FREE IP2C database on the net and I'm very proud that it is NukeSentinel(tm) users that will be making this happen.

I have made plans to release IP2C updates monthly, possibly bi-monthly so look for the next update around 14 Sep 2005.
