When RavenNuke™ v2.20.00 was released, we announced that a maintenance release would follow within 2-3 weeks. Not all the documentation was up to date and we knew there would be some minor issues found by our faithful users. We are expecting to release the fixes by this Saturday, March 1, 2008. There are no major changes to code nor any database changes so the upgrade really should be pretty painless assuming you are using v2.20.00. Otherwise you will need to follow the documented upgrade instructions for your version.

With the release of version 2.0 I paved the way for the release of plug-ins. A plug-in is created when one of the files in the support folder is edited to add a new feature to the theme. It is then released by the designer and anyone wanting the new feature(s) can download it and drop it into the support folder replacing the file already there. Upon uploading the plug-in file you will be able to see the changes to your theme.

I released Version 1.1 today with a lot more in the way of graphics support. It is available for download to all members for free.

Here's the changes in Version 1.1:

* Increased the support for the logo graphics. Three data cells support the logo with an image file and two background files.

* Fully configurable marquee. Every aspect of it can be changed to suit your needs or you can turn it off.

* Forum support, I removed the .css file from the forums and placed the code in the themes main .css document (style/style.css). You can configure everything from there. In Version 1.2 I plan on making the forums more user friendly so you can configure them also.

* Placed config settings for the button link background.Placed leftbar / leftcenterbar / rightcenterbar / rightbar config settings. Those are the graphics on either side of the blocks.

Version 1.0 can be used to build a simple theme while Version1.1 can support a more graphic intense theme.

By now you have probably been following the soap opera at PATCH distro INSTALLATION folder fiasco. I take the full blame for this boneheaded goof. I was under such pressure to get it out that I thought I had all the bases covered. Oh well, so much for thinking :lol:

I plan to give everything a week or so to let the dust settle and then I probably will re-release a v2.02.02a Fixpack (or whatever) for both the Full and the PATCH series. The contents will be what is in the http://ravenphpscripts.com/forum135.html forum, so if you will have kept up with the forum you will not need the fixpack other than to modify the version number.

Finally! We have released v2.02.02 of RavenNuke76(tm) after weeks and weeks of updates and testing and updates and testing! Even though it is labeled as a fix pack, it is a whopper of a fix pack! This also includes phpbb2.0.20 plus many new security patches, along with many core nuke fixes. The installer and the documentation have been improved. There will be a Patch release also, but that may not make it out until tomorrow.
